Throughout his ministry and pastorate, Pastor Hinson’s love for God’s Word, God’s Church, God’s people, and the local community has been evident in every area of service. While serving as a bi-vocational pastor, he also worked as Director of the City of Clearwater’s Neighborhood Services Department, a key department responsible for neighborhood sustainability and urban redevelopment throughout the city. This unique combination of pastoral leadership and civic service has made Pastor Hinson highly sought after as a leader in faith and community ministry, impacting communities with the love of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Hinson strives to live out his personal mission statement, drawn from the historic hymn by Charles Wesley, “A Charge to Keep I Have.” He endeavors to embody the words, “To serve the present age, my calling to fulfill,” while balancing pastoral leadership with preaching, teaching, speaking engagements, conferences, church health consulting, and community revitalization efforts. His passion to serve the Lord with excellence has led to a lifelong commitment to learning, teaching, and serving both inside and outside of the church.
